The Voice of the Sea

While the world is fast and loud,
I walk away from the busy crowd.
The ocean is deeper than the night,
The waves are dancing in the light.

Past the cliffs where wild birds fly,
The sea meets the beautiful sky.
The wind whispers a secret word,
The sweetest song I have ever heard.

The golden sand feels warm and dry,
As the clouds move slowly by.
Although the sun begins to set,
This is a view I won't forget.

Robin Hood

Long ago, a famous outlaw named Robin Hood lived in Sherwood Forest near Nottingham. He was a brave man and an expert archer. Although the rich people hated him, the poor people loved him because he stole money from the wealthy and gave it to those who had nothing. The Sheriff of Nottingham wanted to catch Robin Hood, but Robin was too clever to be caught in the deep forest.

One day, the Sheriff organized a grand archery competition to trap Robin Hood. The prize was a beautiful golden arrow. “Robin loves archery, so he will definitely come,” the Sheriff thought. Robin wanted to join, but he knew it was a trap. Therefore, he disguised himself in a red cloak instead of his usual green clothes. During the competition, Robin shot his arrow perfectly and hit the center of the target. The crowd cheered loudly as the Sheriff handed the golden arrow to the mysterious man in red.

Robin took the prize and safely escaped back into the forest. That evening, he sent a letter to the Sheriff’s castle to tell him the truth. The Sheriff was furious, but Robin and his Merry Men celebrated their victory and shared their rewards with the poor.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack lives with his mother in a small house. They are very poor and do not have any money. They only have an old cow. One day, the mother says, “Jack, go to the market and sell our cow.” On the way, Jack meets an old man. The man says, “Give me your cow, and I will give you these five magic beans.” Jack takes the beans and returns home. His mother is very angry. She throws the beans out of the window.

The next morning, Jack looks out of the window. There is a giant beanstalk! It goes up into the sky. Jack climbs the beanstalk and sees a big castle. A scary giant lives there. Inside the castle, Jack sees a hen and a golden harp. Suddenly, the hen lays a golden egg and the harp plays beautiful music. The giant falls asleep. Jack takes the hen and the harp, but the giant wakes up and shouts, “Fee-fi-fo-fum!” Jack runs fast and climbs down.

Jack takes an axe and cuts down the beanstalk. The giant falls and dies. Jack and his mother are now very rich and happy.
